Pilates for New & Improving
Our Pilates for New & Improving class is ideal for those who are new to the Pilates concept. Classes are ran by one of our senior physiotherapists. Our senior physiotherapists are highly trained in teaching Pilates and will ensure you receive special 1:1attention during the class to master the Pilates basics. You will be taught the 5 key elements of Pilates including how to maintain a correct postural alignment and how to activate your deep core muscles.
As your deep core muscles develop in strength you will progress through the basic levels of Pilates exercises before joining the Intermediate Pilates class. Classes will be different each time but aim to focus on deep core stability, gluteal strengthening exercises and flexibility.
Please ensure you wear loose clothing which is suitable to exercise in. All equipment such as mats, head supports, soft balls and resistance bands will be provided at our Pilates studio.
