I am a musculoskeletal physiotherapist born and bred in Wellington, New Zealand. For the first few years of my career I was working as a Sports Physiotherapist, focusing on acute injuries as well as working with local and regional level football teams. As i developed my skills in physiotherapy, I wanted to continue to extend my scope of practice and completed my Dry Needling course in 2014. Following my move to Manchester in 2016, i was again looking for another way to challenge myself and my patients in their rehabilitation.

Pilates has done exactly that! I am currently in the process of completing my APPI Pilates certification, with the aim of being a fully qualified APPI Pilates instructor. Every person can find benefit from practicing Pilates, whether it be injury management, injury prevention, or just general core strength and fitness. I think Pilates is one of the best things i have done for myself and i look forward to pursuing it further in my physiotherapy career.
